Christy
Christy was established in Manchester in 1850 and is England’s original towel and bath linen manufacturer. Inspired by a visit to Constantinople, Henry Christy returned with him a sample of a handmade, loop pile fabric which he and his brother Richard Christy were able mechanically reproduce on a large scale.
Famous for tradition and quality, Christy towelling uses only the very finest natural fibres to create beautiful towels, flannels and bath linen. As towel brand leader in the UK, Christy strives to be innovative and are proud to have been the first manufacturer in the UK to introduce natural fibres such as silk, micro modal and blends of these fibres to their designs.
