On October 5th 2009 the new Roundhouse Members’ Bar, generously designed by Ligne Roset at Heal’s, will launch alongside the must see Bat for Lashes gig of the year.

Designed and furnished with Ligne Roset at Heal’s Pumpkin armchairs and footstools, Pam Bar stools and Bobine bar tables, the Members bar is a glamorous, contemporary place to relax in one of the coolest venues in London.

Through out Heal’s 200 year history it has always been important to support the arts and this year as we begin to celebrate our bicentenary, working alongside Ligne Roset and a creative and charitable organisation such as the Roundhouse was an opportunity to not to be missed.

‘We’re thrilled to be working with the Roundhouse. Ligne Roset at Heal’s is about innovative design and the Member’s Bar is the perfect place to showcase such fantastic furniture and accessories.
Andrea Warden, Chief Executive, Heal’s.

'I am delighted that Ligne Roset is associated with such an exciting venture. We are very proud to have been asked to design and supply the Member's Bar of this already amazing Art venue.'
Bruno Allard, Ligne Roset UK Director.

‘It’s an utter joy being a part of the Roundhouse. Every time I’m here I’m overwhelmed by the originality and daring of everything I see’.
Terry Gilliam, Roundhouse Member and Ambassador.

Over the last year, the Roundhouse has presented a huge range of performances, from gigs such as Oasis at the BBC Electric Proms, My Bloody Valentine, Grace Jones, Bob Dylan, Fleet Foxes and Basement Jaxx to NoFit State circus, dance innovator Hofesh Shechter and the cabaret fuelled fun of Miss Behave’s Variety Nighty.

The Members’ Bar is one of the many benefits available as part of the Member packages available from the Roundhouse which start from £15-£5000, which includes such benefits as priority booking, savings on booking fees and in the Café, fast track entrance at gigs, free cloakroom and invitations to special events.

From modest Victorian beginnings, as a steam-engine repair shed, the Roundhouse in Camden, north London, is now home to live music, theatre, dance, circus and film. Young people are at the heart of everything we do. They're on our board, help plan and perform at our events, and develop their creative talents in our studios.

The Roundhouse is a charity and every year they need to raise over £3 million to support artistic programmes and work with young people. Ticket sales alone aren’t enough, which is why members and supporters play such an important role.
