The Anglepoise lamps have been manufactured for the past 70 years by Terry & Sons Ltd. Originally designed by George Carwardine in 1934, the Spring Anglepoise 1227 has become a British design classic.

The Anglepoise Giant 1227, a floor lamp based on Carwardine’s orginal design, is three times the size of the standard lamp. Other lamps in the company’s designer lighting range include the Type C, Type 75 and Type1228, all designed by Kenneth Grange CBE, Britain’s most distinguished industrial and product designer and Anglepoise’s Design Director.
