Benjamin Hubert

Born in the UK in 1984, Benjamin Hubert studied Industrial Design and Technology at Loughborough University, graduating in 2006. Following his highly acclaimed degree show, Benjamin won the Corus Material Award for his ‘Puff Out Lights’ at New Designers 06, and received shortlistings in two other categories. Benjamin Hubert Studio then received ‘the most promising designer award’ at 100% futures 2008. In 2009, he launched ‘a year in the making’, winning the best new product award at 100% Design and Best British Design in the British Design Awards. In 2010 he won the Elle Decoration International Young Designer of the Year Award.

In 2010, Benjamin Hubert designed Foundations for Heal's Rediscovers collection. It was inspired by brutalist architecture and manufactured in the U.K.
