Clarissa Hulse was born in Prague, and was lucky to live in many countries whilst growing up - including Thailand, Spain, Italy and Greece. This eclectic background has had a huge influence on her approach to colour and design. She graduated in textiles from Brighton Art College in the 1990s and moved to London to work as a freelance textile designer before starting up her own studio with her successful scarf business. This evolved into designs for home accessories and for the last 10 years she has been building up this business to be one of the most successful and respected textile brands in the UK.
