Since the early 50's, the factory has been mainly dedicated in providing baking and serving dishes to the food industry. In 2000, Appolia decided to move into cookware for the home.

Appolia’s factory is located in southern Brittany, on the west coast of France. This region is famed for its legends and its culinary traditions, and has a soil that’s rich in pure clay and kaolin. Since the early 1950s, the factory has been mainly dedicated to providing baking and serving dishes to the food industry. In 2000 Appolia decided to use its considerable experience and move into creating high quality, hand-finished cookware for the home.
