Founded in 1912 by Enrico Guzzini, the company has always been at the forefront of innovation and design. Guzzini designs items for the table, kitchen and the home with design and functionality at the heart of it's ethos. The company motto is “designed to be used” and this is certainly the case. Their products are not designed to be hidden away in sideboards and drawers but are to be functional and used with pleasure on a daily basis. They have a vision of making new plastic materials as appealing and valued as glass, wood and porcelain.

Guzzinni has won a significate number of prestigious international awards such as the Compasso d’Oro, Design Plus, Good Design Award, IF Product Design Award and Red Dot Award. Furthermore some Guzzini collections are also on show at the Museum of Modern Art in New York and the Victoria and Albert Museum in London.
