Sanderson
Famed for iconic designs like ‘Dandelion clocks’, ‘Miro’ and ‘Festival’, Sanderson is an internationally renowned brand in the field of interior design and decorating. Founded by Arthur Sanderson in 1860, the company is known primarily for its co-ordinating fabric and wallpaper collections - often based on documents from its extensive archive - as well as bedlinen, tableware and paint.
The Sanderson design archive houses one of the largest collections of fabrics, wallpaper and printing blocks in the world, with samples dating back to the Renaissance. The company’s current designers use this exceptional resource for inspiration, re-interpreting these design classics for a contemporary audience.
In 2010 Sanderson celebrated its 150 year anniversary, making it the oldest surviving English brand in its field. Having been granted a Royal Warrant in 1923, Sanderson still supplies fabrics, paint and wallcoverings to HM Queen Elizabeth II and British Royal Palaces.
