I find the design attractive and feel the shade is good value for money. It is not hard to assemble and does not require fiddling with electrics or reinforcing of wiring.[...]. Furthermore, once assembled, the plexiglass parts are not entirely secure and remain wobbly. Lastly, I had not anticipated the fact that the bare light bulbs would remain visible after fitting the shade as this is not clear from the advertising pictures of Heals. As it turns out, this was not a problem in my case, but I feel customers should be made aware in advance of this.

I bought 2 for my open plan living/dining area and received lots of compliments immediately. They are very easy to put together (make sure the curved parts are put in the correct way and not forced), they hang very well and give a lovely light. The light bulb isn't too obvious either. They are of excellent quality and I would highly recommend them.

I bought three of these lights for my hallway. They look more expensive than they actually are and give off a really effective light. I use a clear 40 watt candle light bulb with them which means you can't see the bulb at all - they really look the business. Very easy to install and yes the box is a bit old /cheap looking but the product more than makes up for that!!

The price is fantastic especially for something a bit different. If touched the parts do knock off fairly easily but as it is so easy to assemble it is not a problem.

The item arrived fairly quickly but remember that if you have to return an item it is at your own expense so keep that in mind especially if you are ordering heavy or bulky items!

Don't follow instructions! Easier to get the fitting up and then add the prisms - if you do it first they just fall off! Looks best with a candle bulb but hard to find in right wattage.

The lights are really lovely and such a bargain - when they're up, you'd never guess they weren't real! The only problem is that a couple of the 'crystals' (the ones that slide in) keep falling out, but it's solvable with a bit of white tack or similar. Really happy with them!

Very striking light, bought it for my bedroom and it looks fabulous - easy to assemble. Agree with other reviewers, the box it comes in looks about 30 years old and it doesn't look like much when you tip all the pieces out, but persevere it will look very effective when complete

This light looks lovely in our newly-decorated living room - very glamourous and stylish and ties in with the modern but classical style I was aiming at for the room. However, the curved parts of the light do not stay easily in place. (OK once the light is in situ but am anticipating problems when I come to clean it). Anyway, worth the price and the fact that it looks great is good enough for me. Would recommend it.

I needed 4 ceiling light shades/pendants for my dining room, and this particular pendant has proved the perfect choice. I wanted a chandelier-type light, but without too much drop as my 1950's low ceiling does not allow. With this light I have achieved the refractive qualities of 'glass', whilst the simplicity of the design means the number of fittings required in the room looks harmonious. I am delighted with this purchase.

I bought 4 of therse lights for my hallways. I was suprised with the cheap boxes they came in and also the fact that they are made in China. when assembling, you can tell they really are very cheaply made pendants. HOWEVER, once in situ, they look the part - unusual and expensive. Overall I would definately recommend these pendants. I have received many compliments on them!
