Furniture Delivery Charges

The cost of a furniture delivery is automatically calculated at the checkout. It is worked out based on the area we are delivering to and the value of the order.

Heals Van Delivery (free)

If you are within our Heal’s van delivery area and your order is more than £1000 then there is no charge for delivery.

Heal's Van Delivery (£50)

If you are within our Heal’s van delivery area and your order is below £1000 then the charge will be £50.

DHD Delivery (£50-£120)

If you are outside of our Heal’s van delivery area the cost will range from £50 - £120.

Non-Furniture Delivery Charges

Standard delivery (£4.95) within 2 - 4 days of dispatch

Your order will be delivered within 2-4 working days of the date of dispatch NOT from the date of placing the order.

Express delivery (£5.95) within 1 - 2 days of dispatch

Your order will be delivered within 1-2 working days of the date of dispatch NOT from the date of placing the order.

Please note that for certain large and fragile items such as mirrors and glass chandeliers we may choose to send your order on one of our furniture delivery vans. In these instances, delivery will take 7 - 10 days. If your order is required urgently please contact us on delivery@heals.co.uk and we will be able to give you a more accurate estimate.

Furniture Delivery Timescales

Availability times are displayed on each individual product. It will state either:

- Available within 2-4 weeks

- Available within 4-10 weeks

- Special Order

- Out of stock


Available within 2-4 weeks - this means that the item is in stock at our warehouse and available for dispatch.

Available within 4-10 weeks - this means that we are awaiting a supplier delivery of the item

Special Order - this means that the item is a special order item. We do not hold stock of these goods and will place an order with our suppliers on receipt of your order. Lead-times vary from 2 weeks for certain lighting and furniture items up to 12 weeks for some custom made furniture. Once you have placed your order, you will receive a call from a member of the customer service team to discuss lead-times and delivery

Out of stock - this means that we are currently out of stock of the item

If the product is an awaiting stock item the lead-time quoted is given in good faith. The lead-time is the number of weeks we expect it will take to receive your furniture into our warehouse. Once the furniture has arrived at our warehouse we will contact you within 2-3 days to arrange your delivery.

For Heal's van deliveries we will contact you within 2-3 days to arrange delivery with you. If you have ordered items that are not in stock we will contact you within 2 - 3 days of the goods arriving in our warehouse

For deliveries outside the Heal's van delivery area we will dispatch the goods to an external courier who will contact you to arrange delivery once your order has reached your local depot.

Please note: Your order will only be dispatched when all items included in the order are available.

We will contact you once your order is complete in order to arrange your delivery date and time slot.

Heal's van deliveries can take place Monday to Friday 8am to 6pm. The day(s) and times that we deliver to your area will be discussed with you when we call you. Each day is split into a.m. and p.m. For an estimated time slot for your delivery please contact the Distribution Centre on 0208 884 5100 from 8 a.m. on the morning of delivery.

Heal’s values your security. To safeguard this, a signature is required to acknowledge receipt of goods.

Please ensure you have read our access guidelines and checked that the access available is adequate. Do not forget to consider the following factors that may prevent us from completing a standard delivery: red routes and parking restrictions; delivery vehicle size restrictions; restricted access into property due to the size of the ground floor entrance; restricted access within the property to the intended delivery location. Such factors may require alternative delivery methods for which, in most cases, there is an additional charge. If you have any concerns regarding delivery, please contact us on 08700 240780 option 2 as soon as possible.

We regret that we cannot deliver items past the second floor unless appropriate lift access is available.

If you have requested delivery outside our standard delivery area, or have items that require fitting, then our Distribution Centre will make the delivery arrangements.

We regret that we are only able to ship products to the UK mainland.

Non-Furniture Delivery Timescales

- Available in 1-2 weeks

- Awaiting stock

- Out of stock

In stock - this means that the item is in stock at our warehouse. Orders are normally processed ready for dispatch in 2-3 working days

Available within 1-2 weeks - this means that the item is in stock at either at our warehouse or one of our stores. Orders are normally processed ready for dispatch in 1-2 weeks

Awaiting stock - this means that we are awaiting a supplier delivery of your chosen item

Out of stock - this means that we are currently out of stock of the item

If an order is made up of a number of items and some are awaiting stock, the items awaiting stock may be placed on "back order". This means that we are temporarily out of stock or awaiting a supplier delivery. As soon as the stock arrives with our warehouse then your order will be dispatched.

Please note: Your order will only be dispatched when all items included in the order are available.

Once your order has been dispatched, the delivery time and cost will depend on the option you choose.

If the product is an awaiting stock item and you wish to know an estimated lead-time please contact delivery@heals.co.uk. Please note the lead time quoted is given in good faith. It is based on the best available information from our suppliers at the time of purchase. Where any delay occurs we will notify you by email at the earliest opportunity.

Couriers - Parcelforce

Heal's have partnered with Parcelforce to deliver all of our non furniture orders. Parcelforce are one of the UK's largest and most reputable courier services. Parcelforce provide a fully traceable Nationwide delivery service. When an order is dispatched, a customer will receive an email confirmation that includes an order tracking code. To view the progress of an order please access the Parcelforce website and enter the tracking code supplied.

Parcelforce deliver between 9am and 6pm, Monday to Friday.

Heal's values your security. To safeguard this, a signature is required to acknowledge receipt of goods.

If no one is available to sign for the goods at the delivery address, Parcelforce will leave a card. Simply call the number on the card, quoting the card reference number to re-arrange delivery. They will attempt delivery 3 times before returning the goods to us.

Although we work closely with Parcelforce to ensure the best possible service and convenient delivery times, we regret that delays sometimes occur which are outside our control.

Please Note: We regret that we are only able to ship products to UK mainland and Northern Ireland addresses.

We are happy to send items as gifts for people, but, to avoid confusion, please inform them in advance that a parcel from Heal's is going to be delivered. Note: The value of the goods does not appear on the packing slip.
