We have recently re-designed our website navigation to make it as simple to use as possible and have also added some new features to enhance your shopping experience. On this page we will briefly run through the changes that have been made and outline some useful tips on how to get the most out of your visit, including how to search, browse and purchase.

If you are looking for a specific product then using the search function is the easiest way to navigate the site. The search box is situated in the top left hand corner of the website underneath our logo, and is visible on every page.
If you know the exact product you are looking for simply enter the product ID or product name into the search box. Alternatively input the product type you are looking for e.g. dining table. If you donít find what you are looking for immediately, here are a few tips that may help:
Browsing is another way to find what you are looking for. Instead of using the search box, you can navigate through the product categories by clicking on the tabs that sit along the top of the site.
Once you have clicked on a category you will be taken to a landing page where you can narrow your search further by choosing a more specific sub-category related to that area. For example, if you click on furniture you get taken to the furniture landing page and then have the opportunity to click on armchairs, sofas, occasional tables, shelving and storage etc.
Finally click on the sub category that is most relevant and a search results page will appear along with all the products belonging to this sub-category. You can then refine your search by clicking on the options in the left hand navigation bar or you can browse through the whole sub-category by either clicking the page numbers or view everything on one page by clicking the view all button.
To view a product simply click on the product image or the more info button next to the product and this will take you to the product detail page. The most informative part of the page is the coloured box to the right of the screen where you will find three tabs. The first tab is the description tab which displays the product description and dimensions information. The second tab is the details tab which lists all other appropriate product information such as materials, assembly and care instructions. The final tab is the reviews tab where customers can read and write reviews about the product.
A number of products also have alternative images shown under the main image.
Some also have a zoom function which opens when you click on the product image. It allows you to zoom into the product to see the fine detail.
Once you have found the product you are looking for, click on the "Buy Now" button if you wish to go straight through to the checkout and do not want to purchase anything else. Alternatively click the "Add to basket' button on the product detail page to add the product to your basket and continue shopping. This will then add the product to your basket.
If you wish to view your basket at any time click the "Your Basket" link, also at the top right of the screen. Once you have finished shopping click the "Checkout" button at the top right of the screen.
Once you have clicked on the checkout page link you will be asked to log in to your account. If you have shopped with www.heals.co.uk before, simply log in to your account using your registered email address and password, then proceed to the checkout. If you are a new customer you will need to register. Simply enter your email address and click the new customer button. You will then be asked to input your details and create a password.
At the checkout, you will be asked to confirm your billing and delivery address details. You will also have the opportunity to add a gift message to your order and/or input a promotion/discount code. Finally you will be asked to input your credit/debit card details. The whole process only takes a couple of minutes to complete and is fully secure.
If you are ordering just non-furniture items, you will get a choice of the delivery service used. The delivery charge applies to the whole order so it's the same for a single or multiple items. If you are ordering furniture the delivery charge will be automatically be calculated and added to your basket. Delivery charges will depend upon the value of your order and the delivery location. You have a choice of paying for your order using all major credit or debit cards including Amex, and we now also accept PayPal. To complete your order using a credit or debit cards simply input your card details, the name as shown on the card and security code number, then click the 'Place you Order' button. If you are using a Visa or MasterCard as an additional security measure, you may be required to enter your 3D secure pass code. To complete your order using PayPal, chose the PayPal option and then click the 'Place you Order' button. You will then be taken to PayPal where you'll be asked to log in and verify your order, before returning to Heal's once payment has been taken.
Once your order has been successfully placed, you will be taken to an order confirmation page. In addition, an email confirmation of your order will be sent to your registered email address.
The dispatch time of your order will depend on the individual products you have ordered and their availability.

We aim to dispatch products that are in stock within 1-2 days. Please note that we do not part dispatch orders so please check product availability before ordering. Once the order has been dispatched, the delivery time depends on the service you chose at the checkout. If you are ordering furniture or you have ordered fragile items, delivery will take 1-2 weeks as it will need to be delivered by a specialist courier.
