Sophie Woodrow's unusually striking porcelain figures have been collected by devoted patrons for over ten years, with much of her work now on display in numerous high-profile galleries throughout the UK.

Ever since an early age Sophie has been drawn to working with clay. After graduating from Falmouth College of Art she has since refined a uniquely intricate technique involving coiling, incising and impressing to create her delicately textured figurines.

Inspired by the Victorian era and their idolisation of nature as art, Sophie has put her own spin on the theories of evolution with her unique collection of contemporary objets.
