Heal's Discovers After Matisse Cushion By Sonya Winner. Sonya Winner designs vibrantly coloured rugs, wall hangings and cushions from her London studio, travelling regularly to Nepal and India where her rugs are woven. 'I'm fascinated by exploring the possibilities of creating light, vibrancy and warmth using knotted and tufted wool,' says Sonya, who has created two new designs for Heal's Discovers. 'There are so many ways to create original pieces working with texture, pile height, weaving techniques, yarn type and the overall shape of the design, 'it's an incredibly exciting medium.'

Part of the the 'After Matisse' collection, these vibrant cushions are inspired by Matisse's paper cut outs. The collage of layered colours display a striking geometric design that's perfect for injecting a burst of colour in to an interior.
